There are so many good things about this shoot that I don't know where to begin. The three foot tall coif? The casual artichokes and rhubarb? The neon eye shadow? WERK IT IRIS EGBERS. I SEE YOU.

Because the theater department is moving buildings next year, Carleton had a costume shop sale on monday. There were piles of glorious mid-calfed pants, floor length red velvet capes (hello my new favorite article of clothing) and an awkwardly large amount of stained rice filled bustier. However, my favorite steal, apart from two body sized socks, were the HATS HATS GLORIOUS HATS. Perhaps i'm still caught up on Princess Beatrice of York's Philip Treacy hat from the royal wedding (it's for sale!!) or maybe because Anna Dello Russo has become my new obsession, but for whatever reason i'm loving the exotic headwear. Hooey! Let's not forget where Parachutes Away all began- in the form of a lovely piece of plastic with a massive bird perched on top. Buy my headbands!! Just kidding. Kind of.
