DIY: Detachable Collars

It’s sixth week. You wake up after spending half the night writing a 10 page paper, throw on that drab old grey sweater, and inhale two cups of coffee on your way to morning lab. After squinting through a microscope for four solid hours, you look up and catch your reflection in the window. Two haggard eyes stare back at you, and you wonder what happened to your youthful and joyful spirit. Sleep and a bubble bath flicker through your mind as possible solutions, but you quickly dismiss these ideas realizing you have no time for either. Fear no more, we have the perfect solution. Peter pan collars! With the donning of a single accessory, you can regain the youthful spirit of timeless childhood friends like Eloise and Madeline. This versatile rounded collar embodies Wednesday Addams angst, defines Zooey Deschanel’s whimsical style and dominated the runway during New York Fashion Week RTW 2011. So what are you waiting for? In just 5 easy steps you can take back your youth while also looking fabulous.
