glitter and gold

While Frederick The Great once said "A crown is merely a hat that lets the rain in," I would like to say crowns are much, much more.
They help spice up an unattractive rhinestoned tee like Jamie Lynn Spears:

help you find your prince charming (or that guy from Glee whose in a wheelchair) like Katy Perry:

Or help you look wistful and mysteriful like this random girl I found on flickr:

A crown is always a necessity. So hey, no judgement on your wardrobe choices or male suitors. Here is a step by step tutorial on how to be the most fabulous you.

Step 1: Take a piece of wire and wrap it around your head.

Step 2: Take a second piece of wire and wrap it around the first piece to reinforce.

Step 3: Take a third piece of wire and start making triangles along your circle like so.

Step 4: Ta Daa! YOU'RE HALF WAY DONE! MARVEL AT YOUR BEAUTIFUL WIRED SITUATION!

Step 5: Pick some pretty fabric and lay it down on a flat surface. Lay your wired triangles on top of the fabric, trace, and then cut.

Step 6: Cut a second piece.
