All through high school, my mother tried to convince me that non-denim pants were the way to go. "OoO look at these lovlies," she would say holding up a pair of velour lilac trousers, only to receive a curt nod and her child fleeing to the jeans section. Years later, I see her point. Fancy pants are ideal for copious amounts of printed layers, on the go photographs ("I'm sorry I can't stop, my pants are just too fancy,") or an updated bat mitzvah pants suit. Take it from these lovely ladies; don't cry over spilled drank, dance away in your fancy pants.
